Program for the fifty-third annual convention for the Missouri State Association of Negro Teachers. The convention took place from November 16 - 19, 1938 with most events held at Lincoln High School at the northeast corner of 22nd Street and Woodland Avenue.

Portrait photograph of Myrtle Bennett. Mrs. Bennett shot and killed her husband John G. Bennett on September 29, 1929, in a quarrel over a bridge game. She was acquitted. This photo sat on the dresser in her apartment and was used in the Journal-Post coverage of the murder and trial.
