Letter from J. A. Hemphill to Major Lloyd C. Stark, prior to his election as governor of Missouri. Hemphill writes in support of Stark's candidacy and his endorsement by the Pendergast machine, and says that he has "great faith in a business man who has carried on a big business in a clean and upright manner, free from clever unfair practice."
