FFA Plaque Presentation

Photograph of of KMBC radio broadcaster Phil Evans presenting a plaque to reprentatives of the Shawnee Mission Rural High School chapter of the Future Farmers of America in 1940 or 1941. The FFA students are identified as G. E. Liddle, left, and Phil Erickson, right. Phil Evans hands the plaque to Erikson, and Harold Garver, FFA chapter advisor, stands at the right side of the image. A banner reading "Future Farmers of America" with the organization's emblem hangs behind the men. The photograph is part of the 1940-1941 Future Farmers of America "Co-Operation" scrapbook. A note included says that this ceremony was part of the annual parent-son banquet.
