Missouri vs. John Gadwood: Exhibit 5, Hymie Ballew

Description:

Mug shot of Hymie Ballew, Inmate No. 42199 at the Missouri State Penitentiary. This photo was used as an exhibit in support of the defendant in the Criminal Case No. 34750: State of Missouri vs. John Gadwood. Although Gadwood claimed Ballew and his associates were solely responsible for the murder of Lee Flacy, the State of Missouri concluded that Gadwood along with men sent by Ballew traveled to the cafe at 5824 Swope Parkway to murder Flacy. The state also understands that as ward leader for the "rabbit" faction, Gadwood was answering to Hymie Ballew.
