Dustin Gann

Dr. Dustin Gann is an Associate Professor of History and the Honors Program Coordinator at Midland University. Gann’s broad teaching and research interests focus on individual historical experiences and the relationship between national culture and regional identity. In addition to regularly presenting papers at both regional and national conferences, his research has recently been published in Wide Open Town: Kansas City in the Pendergast Era, published by the University of Kansas Press, and Screening Images of Masculinity in the Age of Postfeminism, published by Lexington Books. He considers himself a bit of an unpretentious foodie; he enjoys traveling, quiet rumination, and escapist fiction.
