Kyle Anthony completed his Ph.D. in History at the University of Kansas in 2011. His areas of interest are in late 19th and 20th century United States history, labor, military, and gender history. He is currently an Assistant Professor and the History Program Coordinator at the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kansas, where he has resided since 2013. He has a passion for curriculum development and incorporating active learning programming into his courses, such as his work with special collections librarians at USM in designing museum exhibits as part of the historical methods course. In addition to teaching history courses, he also currently serves as the First Year Experience coordinator at USM, and loves working with first year students in getting them prepared to succeed in college.
