Upon Truman's proposal of a new air route between Kansas City and New Orleans, Harllee Branch informs Truman that the Civil Aeronautics Board held a meeting to discuss the matter. Although the decision is not finalized by the board, the report completed from the hearing recommends that the Board deny the proposed air route.
